At SortSpoke, safeguarding our customer's data is the foundation of everything we do. In the face of evolving data breaches and hacks that occur today, we know that security has never been more critical.
This is why we remain hyper-focused on maintaining the highest industry standards to protect the interests of your organization and the privacy of its clients - and why we undergo regular third-party audits to prove that to you.
In addition to our SOC-2 Type-1 certification, SortSpoke is proud to announce we’ve completed our SOC-2 Type-2.
What is SOC-2?
The SOC-2 (System and Organization Control 2) report, is an audit that determines how effectively a cloud-based service provider safeguards sensitive customer data, and how well those controls are operating.
SOC-2 defines criteria for managing customer data based on the five trust services principles —security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.
For companies that work with customers in highly-regulated industries with mission-critical operations, like SortSpoke, there is an even greater need for trust and transparency in operations, processes, and results.
A company that achieves the SOC-2 Type-2 certification has proven its system includes the adequate SOC safeguards and procedures required to keep its clients’ sensitive data secure.
What does this mean for our customers?
Completing regular independent assessments of security safeguards is a cornerstone of trust.
SortSpoke's SOC-2 report verifies the existence of internal controls designed and implemented to meet the requirements for the security principles outlined in the Trust Services Principles and Criteria for Security. It provides a thorough review of how SortSpoke's internal controls affect the security and availability of the systems it uses to process users’ data and the confidentiality and privacy of the information processed by these systems.
At SortSpoke, we value your data security as our top priority. At the core of our organization is a belief that your data is just that, yours.
